Yo Brother, I get ya. You are not your fallen nature! As in Baptism we rise to a new life, far different from our "Old Man", because of the death of Jesus on the cross first, and then symbolically arising with Him to newness of Life. The seal of Baptism is just that, for our God is a jealous God! As long as we keep looking forward, and not yearning for the "fleshpots of Egypt", we will carry the cross Jesus gives each soul, and run our race with Victory in sight. Thanks, bro! ;)

ReplyDeletePerhaps the discussion which will result from Francis' comments on the properness of judging folks with SSA will embolden our other pastors to finally realize that outstreached arms often only serve to keep those in need at a distance. I pray that they will begin to bend those arms in order to embrace ALL of the 'lepers' in this great colony which the Great Physician began in order to heal us.
Amen, bro!
